Ranodu Commissions Toilet Facility At Methodist Pry School

The Ranodu of Imota, HRM Oba Mudashiru Agoro has commissioned the convenience infrastructure constructed by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele.

‎The six -unit water system toilet facility was commissioned at the Methodist Primary School, Imota on Sunday.

‎The project forms part of the Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele administration’s sustained efforts to rehabilitate and upgrade educational infrastructure across Imota LCDA, aimed at promoting hygiene, safety, and a more conducive teaching and learning environment for pupils and teachers.

‎The newly commissioned facility is supplied with water from a dedicated borehole to ensure a constant water supply. It comprises four toilets for the pupils, two for males and two for females, as well as two additional toilets for teachers to make it six.

‎Commissioning the facility, the Ranodu of Imota, HRM, Oba (Dr) Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare-Agoro, CFR, Olufoworesetie II,  commended the initiative and described the leadership of Hon. BSA as purposeful and people-centred.

‎“You have done so much in such a short time. Please sustain the tempo because you are focused. It is indeed a remarkable day for Methodist Primary School. This school has a rich history and is the alma mater of notable figures, including myself, the Executive Chairman, and many more.

‎”The construction of these toilet facilities marks a new chapter in the school’s history. This is a vital step towards ensuring the health and dignity of the students, promoting better attendance, and enhancing overall educational outcomes,” Oba  Agoro submitted.

‎The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. A. D. Kassim expressed profound appreciation, describing the intervention as a major relief and a sign of a truly caring and responsive government.

‎”We are grateful to God for the strength, passion, and determination shown by Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele towards the development of education in Imota LCDA. He recognised the urgent need for a toilet facility in the school and he swiftly intervened by constructing a modern, water-flushed toilet block to restore dignity, hygiene, and safety to the school environment.

“This initiative not only enhances sanitation standards but also provides a more conducive atmosphere for learning,” she concluded.

‎After the commissioning, the royal father, alongside other dignitaries, conducted an on-site assessment of ongoing projects within the school, including the construction of a classroom block facilitated by Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

‎At the commissioning were the Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA, Hon Benson Sunday Ayodele; Vice Chairman, Hon. (Princess) Abisoye Omowunmi Jimoh; APC Party Chairman in Imota, Hon. Ramoni Akinyemi; former Leader of the Imota Legislative Arm, Prince Babatunde Oredoyin and the Deputy Leader, Councillor Sunday Aberuagba among others.
